From Tsukuba Center to Mountain Area:
40-55 min bus ride from Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal
There are two different bus lines: Be Careful!
(1) Tsukubasan Shuttle Bus (Bus Gate No. 1) to “Tsukubasan-jinja-iriguchi”, or “Tsutsujigaoka”.
(2) Tsuku-Bus North Shuttle (Bus Gate No, 3) to "Tsukubasan-Guchi" (bottom of Tsukuba Mountain)
Cable Car:
Get off Tsukubasan Shuttle Bus at “Tsukubasan-jinja-iriguchi” and walk 10min to
“Miyawaki station”.
Ropeway:
Get off Tsukubasan Shuttle Bus at “Tsutsujigaoka”.
At the peak, there is a walking path between the Cable Car and Ropeway stations. So, it is possible to buy one-way tickets for Cable Car and Ropeway, or roundtrip tickets.
