Biking

Tsukuba is a biker's paradise since it is pretty flat.

In addition to the pedestrian path going through the center of Tsukuba,

there are two major biking paths, one from Tsuchiura to Mount Tsukuba, the other is around Kasumigaura Lake, the second biggest lake in Japan.

Very good for jogging, biking, and walking, especially during Cherry Blossom Season

About an 8km path that connects a few parks, Tsukuba Center, the EXPO Center, the Tsukuba International Congress Center (venue), and University of Tsukuba (the north end)
